Hey everyone!

Weekly update time!

I’m sorry to say that this week was a little tiring as my nights in the fire department have been restless, and whenever I got home, I’d fall asleep til late in the afternoon. As mentioned previously, I spend the 24 hours at the fire department before going home for the next 48 hours, so I’m only able to do so much work before having to go back to the fire department again. It’s a tight schedule for now, but I’m coping to the best of my abilities.

In summary:

– Finished the roughs for chapter 16 of the MMO series!

– Have the next animation drafted on paper, but not digitally.

– Managed to practice some gestures.

週間更新の時間です!

今週は、消防署での夜が落ち着かず、家に帰るといつも午後遅くまで寝てしまうので、ちょっと疲れましたね。前述したように、24時間消防署で過ごした後、48時間家に帰るので、ある程度の仕事しかできず、また消防署に戻らなくてはならないのです。今のところタイトなスケジュールですが、精一杯対処しています。

要約すると:

- MMOシリーズ第16章のラフを完成させた

- 次のアニメーションの下書きは、デジタルではなく、紙に書いてある。

- ジェスチャーの練習をした。

MMO Progress Update | MMOの進捗 :

This week I focused more on finishing as many MMO pages as I could with the time I was given. The result was that I was finally able to finish the roughs for chapter 16! Now it’s only chapters 17 and 18 left before I can start with the outlines!

今週は与えられた時間の中で、MMOシリーズを出来るだけ進めることに集中しました。その結果、ようやく16章のラフを完成させることができました！あとは第17章と第18章を残すのみです！

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

Unfortunately I was unable to make much progress in terms of animation production this week.

I have drafted the next animation on paper, but I’ve yet to create digital drafts. Once again, I focused more on making as much progress for the MMO series as I could, so I hope you don’t mind.

今週は残念ながらアニメーションの制作があまり進まなかった。

次のアニメーションの原稿は紙に書いてあるのですが、デジタル原稿はまだ作っていません。今回もMMOシリーズを少しでも進めることに集中しましたので、ご勘弁ください。

Warm Ups + Studies | ウォームアップとスタディ:

Wanted to do some cloth studies this week, but unfortunately managed to do only gestures again. I feel like I’m starting to capture the poses better, but my lines are still messy though.

今週は布の研究をしたかったのですが、残念ながらまた身振り手振りのみになってしまいました。ポーズをうまく捉えられるようになってきた気がするけど、線がまだ雑なんだよなぁ。

There’s not much this week and I apologise for that, and for not being able to do more. It’s just that this week in particular has been rather busy and exhausting at the fire department, which causes the time spent at home to be used mostly for resting. It sounds like an excuse no matter how I put it, and I wish I could phrase it better, but it’s simply the fact of the matter right now. Thankfully the reservist duties for this year end next week, so it’s just another 7 days of this scheduling nightmare before things return to normal. I’ll try my best to make the most of my time next week too. Hopefully I’ll be able to make more progress.

今週はあまり多くのことができず、申し訳なく思っています。今週は特に消防署が忙しく、疲れがたまっているため、家にいる時間がほとんど休息に充てられています。どう言っても言い訳にしか聞こえないし、もっとうまく表現したいのですが、これが今の現実です。ありがたいことに、今年の予備役の仕事は来週までなので、あとはこの悪夢のようなスケジュールが7日間続くだけで、普通の状態に戻ります。来週も時間を有効に使えるようにがんばります。もっと進歩できるといいんだけど。
