Following up on my Alternate Sorcerer Class update from last week, I have a pretty large update for my Alternate Sorcerer: Expanded Compendium!
This Compendium includes a ton of additional options for my Alternate Sorcerer class, including 18 New Metamagics, 1 New Feat, 1 Alternate Feat, and 9 extra Sorcerous Origins - including one brand new option, Cosmic Sorcery!

Alternate Sorcerer: Expanded v4.0
This update is mostly a balance patch based on feedback I’ve received for the options in this Compendium over the past year. Mostly buffs to some of the more undwhelming/niche options - let me know what you think!
Metamagics:
Overall, these have been buffed to be less niche, Sorcery Point costs have been reduced, and redundant options have been removed. Overall I hope that these options become more tempting choices for your Sorcerer if your DM chooses to allow this Expanded Metamagic content.
Feats:
Metamagic Adept now explicitly increases the ability score you use for your Spellcasting Ability. Sorcerous Spark has been adjusted to give multiple Cantrips, and the spell you learn is added to your Spells Known/Spells Prepared.
Sorcerous Origins:
These have all been renamed to fit my new naming style for Sorcerer subclasses: Elder Sorcery (The Chained), Entropic Sorcery (Voidwielder), Fey Sorcery (Faeblood), Infernal Sorcery (Hellspawn), Iron Sorcery (Ironmonger), Royal Sorcery (Divine Right), Vampiric Sorcery (Vampiric Soul), Verdant Sorcery (Greensinger).
Cosmic Sorcery. NEW option based on radiance, light, and blinding.
Elder Sorcery. Power of this subclasses abilities have been evened out, and the capstone has been changed to be a massive *hideous laughter* AoE!
Entropic Sorcery. Built out to have actual abilities based on destruction!
Fey Sorcery. This has received some buffs to compensate for access to a half-caster spell list. Generally reworked to focus on emotions and magic.
Infernal Sorcery. Thematically reworked to be generally infernal (instead of specific to demons/the Abyss). Given some move speed buffs!
Iron Sorcery. The armored Sorcerer option! Streamlined the Blade of Strife and buffed the capstone - now themed around Steel Wind Strike.
Royal Sorcery. Streamlined some of the features here and reworked its base 1st level ability around using Heightened Spell with Enchantment spells.
Vampiric Sorcery. Clarified how Blood Magic works and heavily reworked the optional “True Vampirism” rules to have actual penalties (and benefits).
Verdant Sorcery. Reworked around the plant spells - Ensnaring Strike, Entangle, and Plant Growth. Themed around grappling and restraining.

Arcane Tenacity // CUT (redundant with Immutable Will)
Adamant Spell // You can exceed your Spell Limit to use this on 6th+ spells.
Blinding Spell // Multiple Sorcery Points for multiple targets.
Brutal Spell // Removed the effect that forces you to remove minimum roll dice.
Concussive Spell // Multiple Sorcery Points for multiple targets.
Dynamic Presence // Reworked. Expertise for 1 Sorcery Point.
Imbuing Touch // Now just changes the damage type of attacks to force.

Sorcerous Fortitude // Removed CHA mod scaling (so it scales with your Spell Limit). Temp hit points only last for 10 minutes.
Terrifying Spell // NEW Metamagic!
Venomous Spell // NEW Metamagic!
Feats
Alt Metamagic Adept // Now increase any Spellcasting Ability by 1.
Alt Metamagic Adept // Links directly to Alt Sorcerer class doc, clarified when you cast the Metamagic for free it’s as if you spent minimum Sorcery Points.
Sorcerous Spark // Now two Cantrips and one 1st-level Sorcerer spell. You use Charisma unless you already have another Spellcasting Ability.

Ancient Mind // Renamed (Ancient Knowledge).
Chained Power // NEW(ish) feature that allows access to Alt Warlock spell list.
Inscrutable Mind // Renamed (Unknowable Mind). Reaction is only 1/long rest.
Eldritch Revelation // Reworked into a psychic damage / hideous laughter AoE effect.
Entropic Sorcery
Entropic Touch // Reworked and simplified.
Soul of the Void // CUT
Null Magic // New feature.
Negate Spell // Reworked around free 3rd-level castings of these spells.
Ray of Annihilation // Moved up to 14th level and reworked (slightly).
Disciple of the Void // Moved back to 18th level - completely reworked.
Fey Sorcery
Faeblood // NEW(ish) feature that allows access to Alt Bard spell list.
Heartsight // You now add CHA to Insight checks, and your Hearsight action DC is against the creature’s CR (no longer a contested roll).
Emotional Focus // Renamed (Seasonal Attunement) and reworked.
Fleeting Step // Renamed (Gateway Magic) and reworked.
Intoxicating Presence // Range increased to 30 feet.
Infernal Sorcery
Fiendish Lineage // NEW feature. Grants a thematic proficiency and language.
Infernal Form // Renamed (Demonic Form). Streamlined the description and your speed increases by 10 feet while transformed.
Infernal Sorcery Spells // Added Flame Whip and Spiritual Sundering.
Extra Attack // Updated! You can attack as a bonus action when you use your action to cast a 1 action casting time spell or Dash.
Fiendish Resilience // Baseline 1d4, 1d6 when in Infernal Form
Sinister Apotheosis // Renamed (Archdemonic Form). Removed BA Dash, but added a flying speed.
Iron Sorcery
Blade of Strife // Now deals force damage. Cleaned up the wording.
Ironmonger // Renamed (Armaments of War). You can now cast in armor!
Extra Attack // Reworked around the Blade of Strife.
Iron Smite // You now add your CHA mod to Blade of Strife damage.
Iron Aegis // Renamed (Dancing Blade).
Storm of Blades // Reworked around Steel Wind Strike.
Royal Sorcery
Royal Bearing // Renamed (Divine Mark). Simplified!
Words of Authority // Reworked around Heightened Spell.
Vampiric Sorcery
Blood Magic // Simplified wording. You can use it for all Sorcery Points.
Optional True Vampirism Rule // Changed significantly. Great power, but equally great downsides (radiant vulnerability, disadvantage on attacks/checks in sun).
Undead Resilience // Immunity to the Poisoned condition.
Vampiric Mastery // Rewritten to make sense.
Verdant Sorcery
Greensinger // NEW feature. Grants thorn whip and access to Druid spell list.
Overgrowth // Renamed (Verdant Vines) and almost totally reworked.
Verdant Sorcery Spells // Ensnaring strike replaced earth tremor.
Grasping Growth // Reworked around new Overgrowth vines.
Creeping Defense // CUT.
