I remember the days when the reccomended advice was to use a unique ID in every platform and not disclose other pseudonyms in different communities. Nowadays anonymity doesn't just seem to not be a concern for most people in the same way, but so many treat it as a downside. And even with the old ways kicking around in my head, I'm down to like two pseudonyms I use across all platforms and can pretty easily identified even places where I don't just have explicit bio links. It makes me feel old, and I don't even turn 36 until November 😵‍💫

This is incredibly frustrating and I’m sorry to hear about this. As a small business owner myself, I can empathize with you on the emotion surrounding chargebacks. There’s pretty much nothing worse than this. People fail to realize the consequences of this behavior and it’s one of those things that can actually tilt the house of cards. Like others have mentioned above, I am also a member of the Flesh and Blood Discord and have access to this channel, but haven’t posted there in several months. The community is rather toxic and woke and offers little value other than the awareness of what other people are thinking. Would gladly say Bye Felicia to that group. More than anything, I hope from all these comments above you can see the outpouring of love and support from this community. You are appreciated for what you do Rudy, and it is always a joy when a new video pops up on YouTube and I can put up some background entertainment while sorting cards. Thank you.

Only 30 patrons were on the “list” I think every one of them “joined by accident” or “never participated”. If Rudy thought that was possible, he wouldn’t have come down as hard as he (rightfully) did in the OP. It’s his $$$, but ultimately fraud hurts everyone. I trust he’s smart enough to do what’s right for his business. Are there SOME fraudsters on the list of 30? I’d guess yes. So now Rudy gets to decide how valuable it is to risk letting them stay. This morning it seemed like the answer was “none”, but if a large history of no fraud is enough for him, that’s his choice. I’d point out those are also the people that could do the most damage unexpectedly, and now you have proof they at least had tangential contact (if nothing else) with a chargeback-er, but he knows that too I’m sure.

For everyone confused: On the Discord server "Flesh & Blood TCG -Community," at the bottom of the channel list there's a channel called "#wall-street-disclaimer." To participate in #wall-street, you would've needed to react to the Carl-bot post on that channel. If you did not, you're not part of the #wall-street channel.

Don't use discord. I decided long ago to stop listening to Timmy's and make my own informed decision. Floppy tacos for all!

I think your position shows a lack of understanding for how some people use discord. Plenty of people opt into servers, even to opt-in channels and then set the server to mute and never check back in. If there are long term patrons with no history of issues, I think that track record speaks more than simply being in an opt-in channel on the largest FaB discord. Rudy is right to treat this on a per person basis (as indicated by his asks for PMs).

The other problem for Rudy is: if you joined “wallstreet” in the FAB discord, even if you NEVER posted, all of your business could have been done in private and there wouldn’t be public record of it. Chargebacks are the one thing that could probably wreck Rudy’s patron empire, and he has no way of knowing how much interaction anyone in the group really had with each other PRIVATELY. Guilt by association is the only way he can be safe. It sucks, but I don’t want to see him raise prices and/or shut down over 30 bad apples either
