Rudy, have you disclosed what the print run size is for the 2 year anniversary promo? Does the promo come with a playmat? Is there a buy limit on this sale? Will a warning notification be given to patrons beforehand? This is a sale I absolutely cant miss out on.

I’m really curious about something and I guess I just don’t want to look like this flipping asshole that gets things from Rudy just to sell them. I’m not in the flip game but ive sold some of my Pokémon cards over the past year. I plan on keeping the case I got from the large kit sealed in my possession long term ive bought a few more since the large kit sale but the play mats and the promo card are something I only really need one of. So I guess what I am asking is what’s the general feel of people selling some of the kit like I stated a playmat or a promo? I’m pretty new I got in the morning after the MetaZoo sale and this was the first thing I bought so I’m really curious how the community reacts and feels about this. Thanks

HA! So, you bought all but 21 FAB kits under your fake accounts. MetaZoo isn't getting hate, it's getting indifference and/or fear. Of course, since they've appeared to adopted an anti-LGS policy you're hoping that they become the premier YouTuber/Twitch Streamer Box Opening and Collecting Game rather than something people play (like Pokemon). But all Pokemon has to do is release a new video game and MetaZoo gets crushed. Just like FAB might get into trouble if Hasbro/WotC gets their act together. But as their 'double 2019 profits' in 2021 and 'quadruple 2019 profits' in 2022 business plan completes - either they sell off Magic or they will struggle to keep that level of performance up. It is not even worth buying a box of Magic to open anymore, not even MH2. FAB and their $70/Box 'entrance fee' where you can open a box and get a large majority of playable majestics, rares and commons (!!! PLAYABLE COMMONS) is much more palatable than MTG's Set Packs (which I love) where you're lucky to get 1-2 playable cards for a single format. I agree that WotC is making it easy for LSS to grow FAB. I'm not even buying Rudy's Cheap Magic Boxes anymore because it's cheaper to just buy the singles. The MetaZoo/Pokemon battle - that's the spectator event of 2022. But betting against Pokemon seems too big a risk, hoping for the scheme to overtake people's nostalgia. My ill-informed speculation is that Pokemon needs a big miss on their next game for MetaZoo to survive. That's the perceived 'negativity' that I see. As always, I've never sold anything I bought from Rudy for the past 4+ years. :P

I would love for someone here to convince me otherwise... but the LSS001-P sounds like a scam. Almost 0 chance I buy it at that price point, but I'm genuinely interested in someone explaining why that particular item deserves such a price tag? Limited print of an experimental design? Okay, cool...It probably should have been thrown in the trash, but it seems the powers that be thought they could perhaps hose a few whales with the 'limited print' angle. If 5x of LSS001-P were listed on ebay, would they get bid up past 1k? Seems highly unlikely.

its going to be an interesting experient...the less it sells...means the less that will be in the market. So if literally only 50 parons buy it...its going to be hillariously impossible to get and the price will be insane on the market...if a couple hundred people buy it will be interesting to see where it settles. At this point the negativity around FAB sustains me, we're getting back to in person (in flesh and blood if you will) play here and every evening I'm there some of the same people who were claiming it was a scam a year ago are showing interest. Managed to grab a few dozen of each Blitz deck and I've yet to have someone express regret for picking one up, even if it is just to play a few games with friends.

I'm interested in a large bundle if it's still available.

4 of them were NOT patrons, and i caught them, and canceled the payment. 6 of them were EX-PATRONS who were banned for chargebacks and stealing. The rest were failed payments. So yes all of them are no longer patrons. It sucks, but behind the scenes is not fun
