"I love Thor and all of Thor's friends" ... such a tough way to start this movie. lol

Thor is absolutely strong enough to beat Hulk, so that fight was already decided with Thor becoming awakened. Thor and Hulk in the comics are really evenly matched in strength. Hulk has beaten Thor, and Thor has beaten Hulk over and over. Even before he was awakened, he was able to hurt Hulk so yeah he's more than a match. Thor has godlike strength, while Hulk gets stronger and stronger the more angry he gets. Plus the lightning, Thor easily ends the fight quickly. Just a reminder that Hulk and Banner are two different beings. They share a body, but its essentially like different personalities. So Hulk doesn't remember what Bruce does, and Bruce doesn't remember what Hulk does. Loki can be trusted, he can do good, he just needed to be told that he could be more if he chose. In the past, he was always told he needed to be good, and not be bad. This time, he was given the choice, and he luckily did. He did it for the wrong reasons, his own glory and vanity but still he did the right thing. But then he eyeballed the Tesseract so those old habits die hard....

Always fun to watch Galadriel and Eomer destroy Asgard. I love this movie so much. I'm glad Marvel was willing to trust Taika and Chris and let the fun and the comedy flow. You always got a hint at how funny Chris Hemsworth could be in the earlier Thor and Avengers movies, but he really got to shine here. Also, keep an eye on the Marvel logo at the beginning of all these movies (and later TV shows). The clips and characters shown change as the MCU progresses.

Another good Taika film is What We Do in the Shadows. Would be a fun one to do if you can squeeze it into spooky month.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 This is the best way to start off the weekend. This is by far my favorite of the Thor movies. Fun Fact #1: The voice of Korg is that of the director of this movie, Taika Waititi. Fun Fact #2: About 80% of this movie was improvised. Including the "Get Help" scene with Thor and Loki. Fun Fact #3: Thor’s line "he's a friend from work" was suggested by a Make-a-wish kid that was visiting the set. Director Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth both Iiked it, and it stayed in the final film. I love Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie in this movie. And we find out what happened to Bruce/Hulk after the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron". I love the play that Loki, as Odin, is watching with Matt Damon as the actor who's plays Loki, Sam Neil as the actor who plays Odin, and Chris Hemsworth's brother Luke playing the actor who's Thor in the play. Up next in Phase 3: "Black Panther". Have a great day and weekend! 😊

This one of my favorite MCU movies, quickly followed by the new Thor from Taika Waititi as well! You should also check out JoJo Rabbit from the same director if you haven’t seen it. Was a great movie IMO

Happy Friday, Addie. Thor: Ragnarok is my favorite Thor movie because it's very funny. I got a very good laugh attack from the Hulk smashing Thor, the same way he did with Loki in The Avengers (2012). This movie does offer you some levity after having seen Anthony Hopkins in The Silence of the Lambs (1991).
