Ok, so I previously was convinced Zoro did not use Observation Haki in Alabasta, but now I've tried looking up the answer again, and the answer isn't that clear, it seems. Officially, it seems the answer is still closer to a "no", because the One Piece wiki (which, let's be honest, is as official of an online source as you probably can get) state the first use of Observation Haki was in Jaya, but it could just be a matter of Zoro's use of Haki in Alabasta not being confirmed yet.
