2021-02-27 20:23:52 +0000 UTCYea, i've been saying this as well for some time now, just make them use the byakugan or some other special jutsu on the spot and you should be able to tell :D Then again they can use some excuse like i've been injured or have no chakra, it would make you think whether you can actually cut down your friend knowing that he might actually be out of chakra :/ So it's kinda risky

Fillers are fillers for that, they did not think of the author of the work as part of it, the creators of the anime just shut up those weeks of the release of the anime when there were no new chapters of the manga. Fillers often even distort the character of the characters or create plot holes.
