If your opponents don't have darkvision (maybe a bunch of human guards or something) you can still basically pull this same tactic off. And you don't even need Devil's Sight! As long as you have Darkvision and the enemy doesn't, you can get the advantage. Obviously not worth building around, but certainly something to keep in mind!
