Omg I love the X-Men so much... they might be my most favorite collection of characters. Dare I say, I love them even more than Spider-Man, and you all know how much I love him! hahaha. So naturally yeah... of course I LOVED THIS MOVIE! Getting to see most of my favs on screen... hell yeah!

Also, the lack of powers being used was due to budget limitations, this was back before superhero blockbusters with large amounts of money being spent with expectations of huge box office returns. But for its time, it was still a great accomplishment with what they had to work with special effects-wise and the story that they were able to tell.
