Who asked for a Bobbleheads movie?
Why did it just so happen to release at the eleventh hour of a year that many are beyond ready to see come to an end?
How come the director of some beloved (and in the case of Atlantis, underrated) Disney animated features wound up directing this movie?
And why did Cher think lending her voice to this film was a good idea???
All questions I cannot answer...but I knew from the moment I saw the trailer for Bobbleheads that it was going to be a Toy Story ripoff, with none of what made the Toy Story movies so amazing and wonderful. It was like the people behind this movie wanted to try to revitalize a fad that has long since gone out of fashion (seriously, I can't recall the last time bobbleheads were even vaguely relevant), but I don't think the movie will inspire any sort of bobbleheads revival, as it looks to be iffy through and through.
Also, why didn't the guy responsible for Foodfight learn anything from making that infamous movie when he went on to work on this one? Sure, the visuals in Bobbleheads are better than Foodfight by a country mile, but both films remain of a subpar quality in numerous ways. Lord help us all if he ends up making a fidget spinner movie or something like that next...
On the plus side, I do like how you ripped this movie to shreds...it's not quite as bad as some other movies you have covered, but it's still not so great. Also, I'd like to give props to Aficionados Chris for showing off his editing skills...between him, Henri, and Nick, it's getting harder for me to figure out who edited which video without looking at the video credits. That's not a bad thing, mind...all three of them have shown off some fantastic editing skills that have only made your videos even more awesome. I'm sure that will continue to be the case for next week's Rapsittie Street Kids review as well as for whatever is coming our way in 2021. I just know you're gonna end 2020 with a bang with Rapsittie and start 2021 with...well, I don't know what's gonna come our way around the start of the new year, but I just know it's gonna be sweet!
Hope your holiday season is going well, Saber...see you soon! =)
