FIRST UP: Patreon is apparently implementing TAXES to certain tiers based on the nature of the tier and where you live (whatever your tax situation is in your state, etc).
Not sure how this will effect the REYYYTREON, if at all. I think it may only effect tiers that receive physical goods... Which are rare on this 'RON... AND (PSSSSST**I still declare physical items as digital items to hopefully save yall on tax*****PSSSSSTTTT)))
So lmk how the situation does or doesn't change for you after June 1!

This guy is from my in-development BOOTLEG X-COMIC! I have a title for it that I will not reveal yet! But I will say that instead of "X", my KEY TEAM LETTER is "V"!!!!!! As depicted on his radical Kaneda-style jacket
The V is kinda a double meaning / homage... As my first ever self "comics company" that I created as a child was called "VENGEANCE COMICS" and that V right there is literally how I depicted the logo. I even painted that kind of V on my own jacket as a kid!
My childhood character BLOODSHED is actually from that original line of VENGEANCE COMICS. I would later bring him back and feature him in SUN BAKERY!
YEA
But sorry no, BLOODSHED is not part of this new "V" team... The 2020 V-Team (lol, we'll just call them that for now... That is NOT their name but that title is both hella silly and kinda badass lol) -- The 2020 team is comprised entirely of new characters! Yeah so no SHARKNIFE, etc in this TEAM! Which may sound disappointing.... But I think you all will be very excited to meet this team. I've only been working on this for a couple weeks and I'm already in love. These characters absolutely rule! You'll see! (Tho BLOODSHED may make an appearance eventually!)
So this BOOTLEG-X comic is more than just a parody to me... It is kinda mining that childhood obsession I had with superheroes, utilizing very real parts of my creative childhood to bring it to life! With my own spin & vision of course!
So this guy right here is KING SCREAM. My CYCLOPS cypher, obvs! But, instead of EYES, his MAGIC BLAST POWER comes from his mouth!
I've had this character in mind for a long while, including the name "KING SCREAM". His power is actually inspired by METAL SLUG 3, when you could turn into a ZOMBIE and puke massive streams of blood
So yeah, KING SCREAM is kinda a mix of CYCLOPS and BANSHEE I guess... But way cooler lol. I, like many, prolly always thought BANSHEE was pretty lame. Dude just goes "NYAH!" and something goes boom... boring...
KING SCREAM's power is a VOLCANIC VOICE... something that must be contained at all times, lest it burst out and HELLFIRE everything in it's place. When he gets angry, he can barely contain the BLAZE his voice emits... smoke constantly emitting from his mask!
So yeah, he's actually quite inspired by the MORTAL KOMBAT NINJAS visually, too, with the mask. And his jacket is KANEDA inspired, as mentioned before.
So, all the right inspirations, imo
And you know what's the coolest thing? KING SCREAM is the most "normal" character lol. That's why I'm comfortable revealing him first!
The other characters.... holy shit yall!! You'll see. They're quite fun.
