Friday Post #44 - Post-post apocalypse...

A disappointing start to the life of Elewder does not change our focus and perspective. We learned a lot but we keep on trucking.

Sapphire Safari
Last week the focus of Sapphire was around the menu interactions for the cuddle mechanics in the game. Specifically, the system we released in A002 was very underproduced. The current UI makes understanding the tools and positions systems way easier and allows for scalability in the number of tools and positions we can place our girls into. The next trick is building the controls around the UI, how placements work among other things, how to control speed, etc. We also spent some time bringing the models within the beta into the cuddle system as well, so next build we will have a lot of possibilities offered to the girls.

Elewder
So, elephant in the room time. We released Elewder onto Steam early access, but it did not go well. We heard you, releasing just into beta was not the ideal time, systems were not developed enough, there was not enough content, not enough polish. We halted the marketing for the game and are now focused on releasing updates for the game to correct this. Our next patch for the game is around November 15th, and in an ideal world, we are looking to do two major patches a month. We have a lot of ground to cover and a lot of goodwill to get back.

Under Contract
Work has started on the first cuddle scene for Under Contract, this is a case of the background being positioned correctly and getting our lead artist on the task of drawing into the scene. In terms of gameplay, we are looking at finalizing another character for the first department as well. We are also looking at redoing the UI soon as that is currently all over the place. More information on this is coming soon.

Wet Nightmares

Progress is continuing on Wet Nightmares with the next phase of the project getting a bunch of rewrites and blocking done for the missing CG scenes and such. Not much more to say without spoiling the new content so we will just leave it at that.
