Trail cam
Added 2025-08-27 06:22:45 +0000 UTCI love "fake footage" style of art, and a while ago it occurred to me that I wanted to try painting something that looks like night vision trail cam footage, combining that with some sort of a fantastical horror element in order to make something truly weird and creepy. Ended up going with an unicorn. Then I realised that while painting that was fun, it'd be even more fun and creepy to make it an animation. Like it's not just a snapshot of a wild creature being momentarily startled by the camera - it's standing there. Just standing there and staring. For an unsettlingly long time.
