It's update day. Hurrah! I apologize for the lateness of the post but I had a double in my summer job today so despite being incredibly exhausted at the moment, I wanted to make the update before I crashed. If I seem a little loopy, I blame that. :P
Before I jump into everything though, let's greet three more amigos to our awesome Apoca-Ville, where nobody disappears under mysterious circumstances ever, guaranteed! Also, let me just say too that I really, really appreciate your thoughtfulness. I appreciate all of you actually and your continued donations toward the game to help me pay for things like music and pictures and for helping to support my family. I am super eternally grateful. Plus, the more donations we get, the more time I can spend developing and not working like a summer job or my three other jobs atm! With that said, thank you all so much for being so awesome. Now then! Update. As some of you already know I lost about 2 pages worth of changelog notes because my changelog file got corrupted for whatever reason so I had to revert to a backup which is an incredible pain in my ass. Don't worry though, the game itself is completely fine and all the changes I made stuck but the information/details regarding some of those changes and bug fixes were inevitably lost. But yeah, lost about 4-5 days worth of changelog notes. Argh! I was pretty upset.
If you notice something like "Information/Details Corrupted" that means that I lost all the details regarding what got changed in that particular aspect. I remembered SOME of things but 95% of them aren't even on there and are covered with a "Lots of Lots of Details/Information Corrupted Here" messages. Again, the game itself is fine. The changelog suffered a coronary. So just keep in mind however long the changelog is at the moment, add two more pages worth of bug fixes and changes onto it and that's everything that's new/fixed. There are changes with interactions via Rold and the Alaraune, the Stats and Character Pages, Hannah dialogue, etc
So let's get on with it.
KNOWN BUGS: Sometimes human characters will be vastly undersized height-wise. I'm still looking into why that's happening. This will cause them to sometimes be saved as 3ft tall. Also, race isn't changing based on transformations yet but all the individual body-parts are. Still working on that too. Shouldn't be too much longer now.
NEWS: Remember as well that the public demo is getting updated next patch/update. ^_^ Details below.
ALSO: I'm going to leave a poll regarding how well I'm doing as a Dev. I know I've done this before, but I just like keeping everything up to date and seeing if I can't serve you all better. Please let me know if you can think of anything I can improve on. VOTE!

Bug Fixes
- Fixed this error with Hannah: Error running script: Error compiling expression 'player.gender=female': Unknown object or variable 'female' ---- in this particular line: “You're really happy that Hannah is enjoying your attention, especially since you find her incredibly hot---and particularly fascinating. Part of you just wants to strip her naked! But right now you need to nurse your friendship enough to get her to that point.” Turns out I just needed to remove the entire script since it wasn’t needed anyway.
- Fixed an error where if you inspected Cell 7 in the Experimentation Cells, it would display text that you were trapped in the Cell.
- Fixed this: Error running script: Error compiling expression 'player.orientation_as_int<=4': CompareElement: Operation 'LessThanOrEqual' is not defined for types 'Object' and 'Int32' when trying to talk with Hannah.
- Fixed the Undo Button! "Error running script: Error compiling expression 'game.rewind=False': CompareElement: Operation 'Equal' is not defined for types 'Object' and 'Boolean'" I forgot that the Rewind Boolean is actually on the Player and not the Game itself. I apologize about that, I just mixed them up when I was remaking the Command and adding it to the library. It should be working again.
- I fixed the text processor error and an out of place colon randomly with Rold and the Dominant Sex Option with him. It shouldn’t break him anymore for either Dominant Mood; Sexy/Sarcasm. I also fixed a spacing issue or two within both as well.
- I fixed some of the older scripts that were using the old orientation for Asexual.
- Fixed the Cursed Necklace Item which transforms you into a Cow-Girl/Minotaur depending on your Gender. They were a couple of errors spread throughout the coding here and there. All of them have been properly fixed. I have separated all of the Feet transformation descriptions as well, added a ClearScreen where appropriate and actually set Feet to transform since apparently that code script was left out entirely. I think what happened is, I had a bracket out of place when writing it and it erased a big chunk of that area of code within the item, so all of that has been repaired. The final scripts for Lacatation will no longer repeat either after the first time. I also added the code there to ENABLE Lacation, which is needed for the turn-script to actually fire. Also, I left out the Mouth transformation script. So …yeah total fail there. All fixed though. In my defense, that is an extremely complicated transformation! Thanks for the find LightningShifter! I fixed some spacing problems too so you don’t get overwhelmed by gigantic piles of text.
- Transformation Items now properly update your any transformed parts of your body as they happen (this includes Cursed items as well). Apparently before this was hit and miss, so I added a turn-script that guarantees to check with every turn any new stats you’ve gained and any new body-parts you’ve lost or acquired. It seems to be working so far.
- Fixed a missing period in the Player Description when wearing the Cursed Cow-Bell and one for the Cow-Taur Tail transformation descriptions.
- There was a report that pregnancy wasn’t working either when triggered by the DDI, but I confirmed it is working. Keep in mind pregnancy takes about 100 turns before the player shows any symptoms of being pregnant. It also greatly depends on their fertility too, so if you have the least amount of fertility, it could take up to 300 turns before you show symptoms that you’re pregnant ^_^ In short, the DDI pregnancy is working perfectly.
- I think I fixed the SMB causing Cursed Items to not work anymore and to reduce your Health down to 1/1 every now and then. It may have something to do with the turn-script I added to constantly update the Player’s current attributes but whatever happened, it seemed to have fixed that particular problem. I haven’t been able to replicate it since and I tested it with and without the Cursed Items about 3 or 4 times. So problem solved?
- I fixed several errors in the Lactate Turn-Scripts dealing with the Menus. Apparently, I forgot a small chunk of code there! You also can no longer ignore the menu’s when they pop-up. You must answer, Yes or No to the milking your Breasts question. The questions now clear your screen as well so it doesn’t fill up with text.
- I fixed the DDI not updating Races with Horns. Apparently, Horns weren’t getting set 😊 Problem solved!
- I fixed a bug in the subterranean pool just before you arrive in Rold’s Laboratory. Apparently, there was a bug with the Goo Race! Well, nothing major I just put player.legs instead of player.feet. Oops! Every occurrence of this has been fixed!
- Lots and lots of Bug Fix details here were corrupted. I have no idea what I fixed beyond what is written so far because I hadn’t saved the document in like 2-3 days? Yikes!
- Lactation has been fixed. Information Details Corrupted.
- Fixed one of Rold's conversation prompts. Information Details Corrupted.
- I fixed some errors with the alaraune. Information Details Corrupted.
- Fixed a spacing typo in the Player Description: ainexperienced in the Sexy/Sarcasm descriptions.
- The screen now clears when moving between the Laboratory Landing room and the main section of the Laboratory the first time.
Combat
- I’ve continued remastering and standardizing the Combat Scripts which now include detailed and randomized Nails, Horns and Tail description additions at random. Male and Female Player Unarmed combat against Male and Female enemies is finished. There is a 50% chance or less that the Nail, Horn and Tail scripts will show up so they aren’t spamming the combat log all the time. Regardless of whether or not they show up, you still have a 10% chance to gain extra damage against enemies. The following races have extra special damage when they attack unarmed.
Feet: Naga 10% chance for +1 damage and a 10% chance within that for an extra +1 Damage.
Horns: 10% chance for +1 damage. Male Cow-Taur and High-Demon (incubus/succubus) additional 10% chance for an extra +1 damage.
Tails: 10% chance for +1 damage. Bee-Taur and Demon additional 10% chance for an extra +1 damage.
Nails: 10% chance for +1 damage. Neko, Wolf-Taur and Drider additional 10% chance for an extra +1 damage.
Now onto the weapon scripts!
Transformations
- New transformation items: Glass Taffy (Doll), Cowabunga Fruit (Cow-Taur), Nectar Seeds (Alaraune) and Slime Slug (Goo/Slime). Each have their own unique descriptions which are finished and some of them change based around certain parameters: Glass Taffy requires an intelligence of 7 or higher to see added information. Nectar Seeds are dominant Mood based and Slime Slugs require an intelligence of 7 or higher to see some extra descriptive information and a background of Instructor for some brief history. I've also completely redesigned the code for consumable items so that they are less code heavy and therefore less likely to crash when I need to make corrections on them. It should reduce the stress on Quest as well. Each of these items provide certain start attributes as well.
They can either...
Glass Taffy: Lower Fertility (if Female), Lower Strength by -1, Raise Agility +1, Raise Defense +1 or Lower Maximum Health -1.
Cowabunga Fruit: Raise Strength +1, Raise Corruption +3, Lower Agility -1, (if female) + Feminine Facial Features (if male) + Masculine Facial Features.
Nectar Seeds: Raise Maximum Health +1, Health +3, Lower Strength -1, Raise Agility +1, + Feminine Facial Features.
Slime Slug: Raise Maximum Health +1, Lower Strength -1, Raise +1 Agility, Lower Defense -1, Increase Fertility (if female).
The Resist scripts are finished for all of them and are working properly and so are the non-Resist scripts which lead into the transformations.
Glass Taffy TF percentages are as followed: 25% Feet: Unique Race descriptions-Centaur, Naga, Cow-Taur, High-Demon, Demon, Goo. 20% Ears: Unique Race descriptions- Elven, Dark Elf, High-Demon, Demon, Goo, Naga, Centaur, Neko, Wolf-Taur, Drider. 15% Hands: Unique Race descriptions-Goblin, High-Demon, Neko, Wolf-Taur, Drider, Naga, Demon, Goo. 12% Other: Hairgrowth Female/Hair reduction Male 20%. Hipsize: Player Hips reduced to Average. Buttsize: Player Butt reduced to Average.
**All the transformations above will result in a Shocked Status.
Stats
-The Stats Page has been updated. Information Details Corrupted.
- Added Futa to the Player’s Description. If you’re a Male and you have a Breastsize of D-Cup or greater, you will no longer be described as a Male in the Player Description but as a Futa instead.
Sex
- I remove the Horny Block on Hannah’s kiss if the Player is Female. You no longer have to be Horny to kiss Hannah. I’ve also improved the kiss by adding Lust Levels and Horny variables. I'm also currently adding lust/horny variables to those scenes and improving how they flow (which means new things can happen with her depending on your dominant Mood Sexy or Sarcasm). Information Details Corrupted.
Travel
- Player Weight now helps determine Summer and Winter Health Gain/Loss meaning you’ll sometimes gain back any lost Health or vice versa. This still also depends on race.
Patreon/Patron
- The Patreon Page has been completely redone. There is a new combination picture of the daytime/nighttime image which is now on display for the title and new art has been added to it as well. I’ve also redone the game’s introduction, added new pictures and Recommendations as well. Go check it out and lemme know what you think!

Other
- Tying “Wait” now completely clears the screen.
- The brand new title images have been added to the game which were drawn by Lim Chin Yang with topography by Alexis Rillera. The font was actually designed by me too! Whenever you start the game, one of the two title images will appear; a daytime version and a nighttime version. There is a 50% chance that either will appear upon starting or choosing one of the start options. That will be explained below.
- I’ve completely redone the start of the game. All of the menu prompts have been moved to the main title page which consist of three prompts: Create Character, Load Game and Music. Music will allow you turn off the starting title music which will play through the character creation phase. Once you turn off the music for the title you cannot turn it back on however. Load Game works like it always has, you can load a previous save there. And create character works the same way as well, except the music prompt during creation will no longer be present. All of the game’s credits are listed beneath the title now as well. I’ve removed the beginning Premade Option for the time being as well since it needs a major overhaul anyway.
- The Quest Completion picture has been updated with the Apoca-Font. Thank you to our background/topography artist Alexis Rillera ^_^
- Added some new information to the Character Description. Information Details Corrupted. I think I remember the Hair Length descriptions are now different.
- The Master Bedroom door now unlocks if you appear inside from the Western Bookcase and exit out through the door.
- The Help Guide has been updated to include Lust and so has the AMS Read Me file.
- Lots and lots of minor changes and additions were lost here. Information Details Corrupted.
- The NPC Alaraune in the Experimentation Cells now has two brand new pictures for both her Sympathy/Serious poses and the Sexy/Sarcasm poses. All thanks to our Character Artist, Julioalqae. She gets pictures since she’s a potential companion.
- The Chapter 1 Title Screen now has an alternate Background picture which is winter-based. When the game is loaded the picture will represent one of two Seasons; Summer or Winter. The Summer screen is also represented by Summer/Spring/Fall and the Winter will only be the Winter Season.
- Glass Taffy has been added to all the loot tables and to the PVM. It’s also been added to Rold’s Laboratory as a potion he can make for you.
- The Slime NPC in the Experimentation Cells now has been hard-coded to have multiple Genders: Male, Female and Futa which are reflected in its description. I’ve also added several test verbs for the Player to mess around with. By default, the character is Male however. His encounter rate in the Experimentation Cells has been upped to 100%. You can find him in Cell 2. ((This doesn’t mean he will pop up 100% of the time, there’s a 30% chance that something else will happen first but if that chance fails, he will show up)).
- The Alchemy Table now has Cowabunga Fruit and Glass Taffy. And because of their nature as fruits the descriptions have been changed. These replaced Doll Chips and Bovine Seasoning, respectfully.
- The Spellbook “Use Verb” has gotten a slight update with more rooms added and fixed descriptions in others. If you check certain rooms with it now it will definitely warn you of danger and imply something very powerful nearby. There’s a certain room that will indicate something dangerous to come see if you can find it!
COMING UP: Public Demo Update. Finishing Hannah's F/F make-out scenes which now include Lust and Horny Variables (I have 2 1/2 more scenes to do). Slime NPC interaction + potential sex scenes as multiple genders. Alaraune Transformation Item. Cow-Taur Transformation Item. Rold's Favor Dialogue leading to the Chapter 1 Finale. Aaleahya Remaster. Weapon Script Remaster. And whatever else I can think of as I go along.

PS: DO NOT USE Quest 5.8 with this update. Once I have fixed all the Quest 5.8 bugs than I will officially switch the game over to that version. For now, use the Quest version that comes with the game or it will not play. :)
