Different tastes

Sometimes I employ something I refer to as "simplified comic translation", turning something that would be far more complicated to explain or depict into something easier to instantly recognise - in this one, a store bakery section. Originally this observation was about finnish grocery stores' self-select loose candy aisle - there are rows of boxes of different kinds of candies, and a ladle you can use to pick as many as you like into the paper bag provided, weigh it on the grocery scale and pay for them by the weight. The selections in different stores vary, but we have no overlap in our tastes.

The also included One Piece page is how my boyfriend describes this observation.

This candy aisle looks amazing

This is seriously the largest loose candy aisle I have ever seen. I mean - EVER. We have much smaller ones and rarely here in Germany, but even in Sweden, where I have seen large shelves with loose candy, I have never seen anything even closely that large. I mean - NEVER.

I haven't seen that anywhere here, too. But living near the French border, there's been a few times I could visit some and it felt like being Alice in Wonderland! ^-^

Our grocery store has this too. My son works there and is always coming home with new things.

Cherry pie looks like pizza to my old eyes, maybe that's the confusion?

I want a candy aisle like that, too!! 😍😍😍 The grocery stores over here (Germany) don’t have that (at least I haven’t seen one so far)
