This is the free set of this months 'Into The Wilds' maps. The Into the Wilds maps are intended to be simpler & more generic than my regular sets and are perfect to drop in for random encounters when on the road or for when the party takes an unexpected turn and you want to be prepared. They are also completely free! Patrons get access to high resolution versions and extra variants.
This months Into the Wilds theme is Shadowfell as voted for by Adventurer tier Patrons.
Collapsing Ground - Sections of the earth have crumbled away into the misty void below. It is almost impossible to gauge the depth of the fall, if it even has a bottom, and unsurprisingly no one is volunteering to check.
Fetid Pools - This swampy marshland is all that remains of a long forgotten battleground. Faint lights in the mist seem to mark a path of sorts, but where it leads and who set it is a mystery best left unsolved.
Valley of the Dead - These narrow paths, twisting maze like through a sea of craggy outcrops, are lined with grotesque and contorted statues. Faint whispers in the air and movement on the very edge of your vision suggest they may be more than carved rock.
Grim Town Street - Unlikely as it may seem, there are permanent dwellers in this realm Enough that small townships have developed over time in the more hospitable corners. It seems a miserable life however, and the citizens are quick to hide from any newcomers.
