Lagoon Palace Audience Hall

The grand Lagoon Palace sits atop a waterfall in the steamy tropics. The humidity is too high for most regular humanoids to stay comfortably for prolonged periods of time, but the local populace apparently has some fey ancestry that has allowed them to acclimate.

There is an essence of the fey still in the air, the flora and fauna here are oversized, the people ethereal, and as a visitor it is hard to maintain focus or coherent thought, although that could simply be because of the sapping heat.

You have been granted an audience with the Prime Warden, but for what exactly you can’t quite remember.

Hideouts & Lairs

Phase Spider Lair

Strong tremors have shaken the ground nearby for the last few days, causing panic and fear among the local settlements. The tremors caused a series of rifts and chasms to open up, pockmarking the landscape. Most are around the size of a cartwheel, but several are far larger.

A strange miasma seems to be emanating from these openings, clinging to the trees and vegetation and causing a sense of dread in those who get too close. The villagers are seeking a bank of hardy adventurers to investigate the rifts and remove any possible source of danger.

Into the Wilds

Riverside - The river has a number of tributaries that wind through the city before joining the main channel. Homes near these streams are considered desirable for the view, although at times the smell can be off putting.
Central - The residential buildings in the city centre are much grander each taking up a whole block. This has lead to a series of straight grid like roads that some consider grand while others deride their lack of character.
Cemetery - The main cemetery is outside of the city limits, but there are smaller graveyards like this dotted around the hillsides. Some of them contain tombs that are older than the city itself. Rather than disturb these ancient resting places, the locals chose to instead bury their own dead nearby.
Private Dock - Although not officially recognised, some business owners have assigned themselves a private section of dockland along the cities many canals. This allows them to bring their goods direct to their location without having to pay import and offloading fees.

Hacienda Courtyard Scene

Don Sebastián Solano is the head of the Solano family. Having made their money from trade and with no direct connection to any political factions, the Solano’s are highly respected by the community due to their charitable endeavours.

Although Sebastian himself is currently the only resident of the families Hacienda, aside from the guards and serving staff, he regularly hosts dinners and events for the common folk so the compound is always humming with life. While preparing a feast to celebrate an upcoming festival one of the kitchen staff was found dead, seemingly poisoned after having tasted some of the meal.

Don Solano has locked down the estate and cancelled the celebrations until he can find who poisoned the food and why. Unable to fully trust his own staff, he is calling for outside help with the investigation.

Wealthy merchant Don Sebastián Solano's desert hacienda holds a dangerous secret - it was built atop ancient seals binding a portal to the Elemental Plane of Earth. As these seals weaken and elemental forces emerge, the characters must assist in a ritual to reinforce the bindings before the estate is destroyed. Time is critical as players make strategic choices to balance speed against safety at each seal.

A magical virus implanted within a bestselling novel has infiltrated a local bookstore, creating magical havoc as it attempts to establish a "network" through which it can begin corrupting the shop's entire inventory. The party must navigate the store's now-dangerous environment, disable the virus's protective warding, and contain the threat before the shop's entire inventory is corrupted beyond repair.

Luminaire for 5e & PF2E

What looks to have once been a hanging chandelier, has been ripped from whatever mechanism had previously kept it aloft. Now, a leather strap has been attached to the back turning this object into a makeshift shield that is constantly pouring light from it. When held, illusory wax drips from it, but disappears shortly after coming into contact with another surface. It seems the chandelier has been enchanted with some form of everburning magic to keep the appearance of fire where there is none.

Wick Walker for 5e & PF2E

Wick Walkers typically form in ancient places of worship such as long forgotten churches, shrines, or monasteries. These creatures are living manifestations made of wax that was magically imbued as part of rites that were held in these old halls. As they are born of the rituals that take part within these places of worship, their alignment and who they serve often aligns directly with the peoples who used to worship in the site.
