Shout out to Predator 2. Not so much because of the action scenes, but because it had one of the first crossovers I remember when Danny Glover goes into Predator space ship and sees an Alien skull trophy thing.

I don't know if this counts, but I love the opening to Once Upon A Time in the West

In no particular order.... 1. Aliens 2. The Matrix 3. Civil War 4. Predator 5. Army of Darkness Favorite scene has to be from The Matrix 2. Neo fighting the Frenchmans thugs while Trinity and Morpheus fight the Ghost Twins. Could think of so many more and sure Im missing some. Cant wait for the episode.

Oh!! Also Oldboy!! The fight in the hallway is one shot!!!It’s not an action movie, but damn near one!!

The protector fight scene in the restaurant is 4 minutes & one take. It’s stunning.

Do you guys have a favorite "long take" or "single take" fight scene?

Ooooooohhhh boi I am excite. I tried to narrow this down and shout out some earlier movies that will appeal to the OSA group: Top 5 action movies: 1: Die Hard (uh duh) 2: Enter the Dragon (which David Leitch apparently wants to remake. Can I vote no on that?) 3: Face off (it has two meanings!!) 4: Aliens 5: Rambo: First blood (That was so hard!!) Okay, favorite action scenes: 1: WAY of the Dragon. (Elevator pitch the scene)Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris, in the colosseum, surrounded by cats (which they keep cutting to btw), Bruce at one point reaches out, grabs a chunk of Chucks chest hair and pulls it out somehow making a pattern that looks like a face on Chucks chest and stomach. Dude was so bad ass he pulls patterns out with one fist!!! 2:The Protector: young guy is tasked with protecting these elephants for his village, elephants get kidnapped when guy finds them only the baby is alive SO HE STRAPS THE DEAD ELEPHANT BONES TO HIS BODY AND PROCEEDS TO FIGHT THE BAD GUYS WITH GIANT BONES STRAPPED TO HIS ARMS AND LEGS. I mean... ugh. It’s perfect. 3: The bullet scene in The Matrix. You know it. Moving on. 4: The epic car chase scene in Bulitt. It’s epic, it’s Iconic, it’s everything. 5: The “we both know our gun” scene in Face Off. Cardboard boxes exploding everywhere, high emotional stakes, 10/10 Shout out to every LOTR battle, every time Bruce Lee walked on peoples heads when they were standing up, Every Edgar Wright movie, and so many others!! If you want to know just message me, this is the shortest I could make this list.

My question is what is y'all's favorite Marvel and DC cinematic fight scene??? Mines Winter Soldier v Capt (wished it lasted longer b4 the revel) and Batman's rescues Martha mission fight scene

My first Blu Ray on my flatscreen tv was Matrix Reloaded. They fight with all those agents was so badass to me. But Nightcrawler's opening scene was so badass. Good visual and of his flexibility was sweet. But most favorite would have to be The Kingsman's church scene. Just altogether fun and crazy , brutal and smart.

In live action I like scenes that truly show a characters power on a scale that is understood to us. Example: the No Man’s Land scene in Wonder Woman shows her actual strength. BUT Animation is my first love due to the creativity. That being said what’s your favorite animated action scene!? Mine currently is the big fight between Shiro and Keith in the latest season of Voltron

Growing up in the 80's where stupid crazy macho action movies abound, it is hard to pick. I really like the dumb Arnold Schwarzenegger movies. Total Recall, Predator and Commando. Love the stupid one liners. I like to go to the movies to escape reality. I love how over the top action movies can be. I think Dwayne Johnson is really doing a good job playing homage to them.

Mary McCormack

I can't say I've seen too many action films, but throw any Jackie Chan film and that's pretty much the epitome of action for me. Incredibly creative use of environment, astounding athleticism, no cuts or major editing, and incredibly comedic
