Status update from kd-11 (11-04-2021)
Added 2021-04-11 17:18:44 +0000 UTCHi,
It's kd-11 with another update for RPCS3.
Usually I start off this section with a recap of the happenings for the last month, breaking down work done and explaining how it ties in to future work. Unfortunately, this time, not much changed during the last month. Well, asynchronous texture streaming foundation code was added to the emulator, but then I disappeared for a while. As some of you are aware, that was because I contracted COVID-19 in early March and was unable to work on anything for a few weeks. I was not asymptomatic and the stressful impact this event had on my life and my family led to me taking some time to deal with the aftermath. However, for the past few days I have been back to work on RPCS3 and I couldn't be happier. While a few changes have been introduced since the last update, I don't feel it is appropriate to add them to this update - the changes are mostly small fixes and a more complete update will be provided in a few weeks.
For the next few weeks, I'll work on improving stability as well as resolving the many bugs and regressions reported since last year's maintenance period. Hopefully we get the emulator to a more stable and bug-free state by the end of it. I will provide a more fleshed out roadmap in the next update at the end of the month.
Thank you all for your continued support.
Regards,
kd-11

2021-04-12 03:19:36 +0000 UTCI wish there was a test which actually differentiates between sars-cov-2 and a few of the common strains of cold and flu. That way, we could know when someone having covid-19 actually had it in correlation to a concordance of an overabundance of sars-cov-2 virus particles.
