Sure, some more consistency in content scheduling will probably help the algorithm, but that will come with time as you get the kinks worked out. Already talked about what brought me here (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) in another post, and in a DM about how not being too precious about “first time watches” may be a benefit and play into your strengths and what you can deliver. The Credit Checks are very much appreciated, as are when you lean into your writer and producer knowledge, skills, and talents. They make you distinctive among reaction channels. I think you’re only beginning to scratch the surface of how great you two are and what you will make of your reaction channel.

Themed Reactions? a) I’m always up for a theme! We do try to pick themes when one or both of us knows a bit about the movie/show. It's trickier when we both know very little or don’t want to spoil it for the other — but I’m definitely open to trying more! b) Curious — which reactions did you watch on FV? 3. Members-Only Live - We’re working on setting up a Members-Only Live stream. Ideally, we’d love to do it simultaneously for both Patreon and YouTube, but we may have to host separate ones. We haven't had a Tune-In Tuesday for a bit due to schedules, but we miss them! 4. Greg’s Watched A Lot! - Turns out Greg has seen way more movies than I expected! I thought I’d watched a lot — but it turns out mine was more TV. We're working on doing more First Time Watches for both of us. There are a few where it’s Greg’s first time but not mine. Some are Patreon FV only (e.g., Titanic, Hunt for the Wilderpeople). Some are YouTube cuts (e.g., Deadpool). 5. What Have We Watched? We don’t currently have a full list of everything we’ve reacted to. We’re looking into ways to better track what we’ve watched for the channel. The harder list is figuring out what we both had already seen before starting the channel — and we get a lot of requests for pre-channel favorites! P.S. Keeping it Des for privacy 😊

2025-05-20 18:39:26 +0000 UTCHey Greg & Des! I'm usually pretty quiet here but I thought feedback, when requested, would be appreciated, so here goes. 1. I've been loving the main show - your personalities, industry knowledge, actor recognition/appreciation, and scriptwriting sensibilities. Again, really love the 'Credit Checks' you do. 2. The occasional movie/show-appropriate dressing up you've done when one or both of you have prior knowledge of the material have been fun. Maybe make that more of a systemic effort going forward? But only if it's also fun for you guys. And I'm relatively sure there's a way to keep it spoiler-free for the first-time watcher. 2. Voting and full-length reactions have been a draw for me personally. But for full-length reactions, I've only been able to make the time for select videos. 3. Just noticed the Youtube 'Tune-In Tuesday livestreams' and will make an effort to join you there. Keep 'em going! 4. This might be a difficult to implement suggestion, but most of the videos I've watched have been cases where Greg has had prior knowledge. Would it be possible to balance them out with 'only Des has prior knowledge' or 'both first-time' movies/shows? (If this is a result of my selection bias, please let me know.) 5. Do you keep a list of already-seen media anywhere? It would be helpful to know what y'all have seen beforehand (for suggestions and other reactions in general), though I recognize creating two such lists from scratch would be a big task. Those are all I can think of now, mostly because you guys are awesome as-is. Hope this helps! P.S. What's Des' full name? I'd love to know if it's info you want to share. I assume Greg is a Gregory, but all I can come up with for Des is... Desdemona. I'd love to know if I'm right, cuz that's a cool name.
