What next? After the release of version 1.3

First of all, thank you so much for the positive response to version 1.3. I put a lot of time and effort into making it enjoyable, and your support truly motivates me to continue this project with the same level of dedication.

Young Kora is cooking up some evil plans for the next version, 1.4. I will also address some questions that were brought to my attention after the release of version 1.3. Additionally, I’ll share my schedule leading up to the release of version 1.4. As always, I'll divide everything into topics, so let's get started.

Version 1.4 Preview

Following the release of version 1.3, I’ve gained clarity on the direction of our story. In version 1.4, we will see Sephira become increasingly corrupted, and there will be more interactions between her and Hilda. Additionally, a new villain, Damian, will be introduced and play a significant role. Version 1.4 will cover up to the middle of Arc 3, featuring around four scenes and potentially an alternative ending.

Will Chapter 1 Have a Happy Ending?

This is a challenging question. Since this game is a prequel to my main story, the fate of Aldos and his group is somewhat predetermined and not very optimistic. However, I am considering including alternative endings, like the Glavius and Tanya scenario, if they fit naturally into the narrative or maybe somthing fun.(for example, an alternative ending where Aldos and Marin end up together could be a fun addition, given their clueless and innocent natures.)

The True Villain of the Story

Identifying the true villain is complex. Is it Kora, Glavius, or Darius? I prefer not to pinpoint a single character as the main antagonist. Each character has a background that shapes their actions. Glavius, for instance, makes terrible choices but occasionally shows a softer side, like giving Aldos's son a crossbow. Kora's descent into madness is fueled by her upbringing and the destruction of her father's legacy. I aim to create villains with nuanced motivations, rather than clear-cut evil characters.

Damian and the Story of 1.4

Although still in development, the story in version 1.4 will take place in a snowy setting and will delve into Sephira’s corrupted state. Expect an evil and naughty Sephira.

Damian, the strongest general in Darius's army and Glavius's former master, will be introduced. Unlike other bosses, Damian is a cold, honorable tyrannical leader with a deep respect for Aldos, who once defeated him. Glavius seeks to avenge the loss of his eye by defeating Damian in a duel.

Tanya and The Bunny Events

After crafting the main story, I realized that integrating the bunny events into the main plot was challenging, especially with Tanya's character. To maintain narrative cohesion, I've decided to make the bunny events a side story, serving as a fun filler. This approach allows me to create the bunny events more freely without worrying about their impact on the main storyline. These events will still be in the game but will be separate from the original story.

About Tanya, when developing the characters, I gave Tanya a special role as Glavius's only true love interest—the only girl he genuinely cares about, due to their shared background. Tanya also has romantic feelings for Glavius, unlike Sephira, Hilda, and other side characters who are primarily interested in him for sex (with Marin being another exception). This makes it difficult for me to justify Tanya accepting Glavius's advances, especially knowing he has been involved with other girls in the village. I still plan to create one more scene with her, but I will carefully consider how to do so without compromising the story.

Bugs and App Version

I have received reports of crashes after the Temple of Shadows scene and other minor issues, such as a glitch in the Glavius event 2 at the inn. I will address these bugs in the next version. Regarding the app version, I plan to release it later this week.

My Schedule

Currently, I am working on the "Wives Falling Down 7" set and plan to share some animations with my subscribers this weekend. Concurrently, I am developing the CG for version 1.4 and writing the script for Arc 3. My goal is to release version 1.4 by the end of next month, while continuing to post updates twice a week.
