I've decided to start a mini side project using the Ren'py engine. I guess most of you know what that is already, but for those of you who don't it's a visual novel engine that's apparently easy to use (for novice programmers like me). The reasons for this are:
-To learn how to use Ren'py
- To see if I can make games in it that are any good in Ren'py, and see how it compares to Flash.
- Working on SLOG all the time can get monotonous. I think occasionally switching to a different project will help me keep better focus over all.
Please note that I will only be working on this for a short time each week. Priority will of course be given to SLOG. In fact, I can't guarantee that this game will even get made (I may realize that Ren'py doesn't fit my style, may be too difficult ect)
With that said, here's the question I put to you: Who would you like to feature in this Ren'py mini game?
