Roundscape Eclipse - 0.2 Release

Today's quite a special day! We're excited to announce the first Alpha Release of Roundscape II, now known as Roundscape Eclipse.
This initial version of Roundscape Eclipse offers approximately 2-4 hours of gameplay, featuring three companions to recruit, several side quests, two maps to explore, and around 10 fun adult scenes.
Please keep in mind that this is the first version of Roundscape Eclipse.
This is just the beginning of a new journey. Over the next few years, we will shape this project into a major RPG, just as we did with Roundscape Adorevia.
Next week, we will conduct a survey to gather your feedback on this first build.
In the meantime, please share your thoughts in the comments or on Discord!

Known Issues
Two or three times, lines miss voice over. This is due to our lip component optimization code and will be improved and fixed. This is also why villagers stop talking when you move too far away.
The Fairy Quest only grants an XP and Orb reward for now. The Item she rewards is still in development.
FAQ
Q: Why is there no auto save?
A: To prevent save file corruption or getting soft locked due to a bug. We will add auto saving later during development.
Q: Help! I encountered a gameplay related bug!
A: Restart the game, it will "reset" the game except for crucial variables, and please also report the bug via the form.
Q: What does Alpha mean?
A: It means that the game is still in an early phase of development and systems, assets and even story aspects are subject to change.
Q: When can we expect the next content update?
A: We are planning to release new content every one to two months. If there's a massive bug or similar, we will release hotfixes ASAP.
Q: I wish combat was a bit more demanding.
A: We are thinking of ways to offer a different experience for those who want that.

2024-06-01 08:01:19 +0000 UTCHey Marius, sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the game. I recommend activating FPS Limit or VSync in the options to stop the PC from running too hot. Also, there are characters with different proportions like the Goddess at the start, the third companion and more are planned.

2024-05-30 22:02:04 +0000 UTCurm what are you running? a potato level pc? i dont have a significantly advanced machine myself and i dont have that much of an issue though i do agree im not always the big booba guy but if the story is good the big booba issue can be ignored for me personally same with the asses FYI with with big asses are harder to well...... yeah i think having two cushions for a pair of arse cheecks its more protection from unwanted anal intrusions than anything really lol also never under estimate the power of a rear truck one foul move and she can use that to knock you on your arse (from personal experiance due to my wife having a big truck on her rear, a big natural truck mind and it was not her fault)

2024-05-30 16:50:55 +0000 UTCfantastic news i have to admit my admiration for devs who have passion is rare but by george i do admire the level of commitment your all putting into this proving my patreon sub was worth the monthly sub more over ive been a sub of yours since the fun little game of Below Sunshade first released and i still play that game my most recent run ending only 2 nights ago haha. yet i find myself often saving Idrune because ive always been a big sucker for elven females and ive always liked how by being a gentleman you can actually get what i would concider a 'Wife' tier woman out of her, yes she is fussy and high maintenance by at max relationship i find those traits tend to be broken in her and she mellows out. that aside the fact im still playing one of your older games is a sign and a testament to how good i feel you are. Edit: i just remembered the name Idrune is mentioned by the blonde elven girl in the mage origin start ahahahahahaaaaa. oh man i didnt even realise till i started writing about Below Sunshade.

Also, it crashed my PC hard as I tried to enter a house in the first village. Sent the cooler of my graphics card into overdrive and caused a black screen that forced me to do a hard shutdown and reset, before things worked again.

2024-05-30 09:34:39 +0000 UTCalso i am not sure how to complete the side quests like the priestess one gained when you talk to her in the church but the voices of some of the characters need improvement clearly too AI like but hey this is the drop of an alpha and hopefully as this sequel evolves you can get people to perform the lines. but most of all ive had hopes this would be a good game and compared to some AAA games this has far less bugs for an Alpha release than they do and yes i have tested some alpha and beta releases of AAA games in the past and so i can say that an indy game having less bug in this stage of dev than some AAA games ive tested is a good thing.
