Blue In Green (Record Shop)
Added 2024-05-28 15:00:08 +0000 UTCAt last! It is DONE. Procreate timelapse tells me this is the most amount of time I have spent on a single piece, and I believe it. I manually painted all the album covers except Hozier, because to HECK with that.
Most of the albums shown are special to me or someone I love — the front couple are records by Everything Everything, my beloved best friend’s favorite band. The SZA and Black Pumas are some of my personal faves, Peter Gabriel and Florence for my husband, and the Miles Davis, of course, for my dad. I remember laying on my stomach on the plush white carpet on my dad’s high-rise apartment, writing in notebooks while Dad cooked up dinner and “Blue In Green” played on the stereo. To me that album sounds cozy and luxurious, and I think Aziraphale would love it.
They’ll buy it, take it home, and put it on while they cook together, then smooch over wine.
