“You’ve been watching me for a while,” she said, a playful lilt to her voice as she turned to glance over her shoulder. “Am I that distracting… or is it the dress?”
She stepped closer, her boots clicking softly against the stone floor. “Be honest,” she teased, “do you come out here for the sunlight… or for me?”
A sly smile curled her lips as she leaned in, her gloved fingers gently brushing yours. “I might not duel you today… but I do enjoy winning your attention.”
