Dad's not out of the fire yet but by goodness he's stronger than we all knew him to be. I cried so hard yesterday and today not a tear escaped me because I feel confident the danger is so much less than it once was.
I don't know what the future holds but I've been graced once again with a few more hours, days, weeks, hopefully months, and ideally years with my Dad thanks to him defying the odds once more.

I'm glad he's recovered a bit. Here's hoping you have plenty more time with him. Its hard to know whats going to happen in these situations- so its understandable that you'd freak out like that. I know I did. Take it easy on yourself. Enjoy the time you have with him.
