Here's some progress on the Glow Worm room in Shiver Swamp. We've been working on the water terraces in this specific room and the glowworm effect.
We've replaced the terrace meshes we used before as they we're kinda bad for platforming (they were too deep and it was hard to jump onto them) and instead just edge-modeled new meshes and used tiling textures. We also used a shader to have water flow down the sides of the terraces. We've also started using these meshes to fill out the final room.
As for the glowworms, they're just long, two-sided planes for the falling poop. The spots on the ceiling are emissive decals, and there are a LOT of decals. To go forward, we're adding some stalactites to the ceiling and some more particles to fill it out, then some more rocks, wood meshes and collectables.
