This is probably my favourite non-mainplot oriented episode of any TV show ever. You could call it a filler episode (even though it's a character oriented episode), and it's a straight up 10/10. Sensational TV with amazing characters. I simply cannot give this episode enough praise. Jack Burton, despite only being in 2 episodes, leaves such a mark every time he's on screen. Such a layered and complex character, and his relationship with Sarah is both tragic and heartwarming. It feels really realistic at times too, with typical absentee parents who just can't seem to do the right thing. Yet he pulled through for her in the end, at least somewhat. When they (Casey and Kathleen) "met" last season she was half unconscious, so not exactly something she'd remember too much of, or she might have thought her consciousness played a trick on her.
