It does! Thank you so much. I've never done anything like this for people who aren't my friends so I am kind of experimenting and playing with ideas a bit. I do think some sketches might be good though. It might get easier to do coming up. Mommy Dearest became such an undertaking that it ate up a ton of my time and it's been a learning experience for when I do the next one :) What did you mean by "similar hooks"?

2025-02-13 07:27:16 +0000 UTCI feel a bit disingenuous saying I’m only here for the drawings, but I suppose the story for me is just laced very slowly and split in segments that make it hard to follow since it’s infrequently updated. It has become a skim for me at this point, which makes me feel bad, but each chapter is kind of a buildup piece with very similar hooks each time, so the payoff has gotten slightly less and less effective for me. As mentioned earlier, images help a lot too, even if we get an image of the woman who is talking the most each week and her image is reused when she reappears in the future at least adds a bit more substance. I’m a writer, so for me, maybe it’s just a vaguely cynical ‘not how I would have done it’ situation? Hopefully this feedback helps ^^,
