Starting November 2024, Apple will require that Patreon use its in-app purchasing system. They will also be removing all third party billing systems from the Patreon IOS app. Further, all in-app payments will be subject to a 30% App Store fee.
No, it's not fair. Yes, it's bullshit. But Apple owns their IOS so no one gets to do anything about it. If you pay me through the Apple app, I highly recommend that you connect to Patreon through a regular browser.

4 out of ever 5 updates that come from Patreon (I’ll count this as Patreon) is shit and reason to go to Ko-Fi. I know you used it before, but you can open it again incase they decide to delete your nt for some reason. There where authors who got flagged and told their chapter needs to be reviewed before it can be posted. And your Coil chapter would have likely been flagged.

I am not sure I would take the odds of apple ignoring the existing payments going to patreon or patreon just eating the loss here. Hope for the best, expect the worst. That way you are never disappointed.
