The song was from a 90s boy band "big" in Canada. I don't think they ever charted outside of Canada, and probably for good reason, but it's a Canadian song, so we gots to be proud of it.

I doubt whether any of my age group would know or like this song, I've never heard it in any other context than people roasting it on tv. I've never heard it in any public setting, radio or friend playing it, but that could just be a regional thing in Canada, who knows (I live in a smaller province/city).

2021-11-28 11:39:53 +0000 UTCI'd agree with that in some ways, boy bands have sort of helped continue to normalize a more feminine male beauty standard in pop culture (though they certainly weren't the first to do this, they carried on the trend to modern times). Wish they had picked a better boy band song though, and one better for lipsyncing :c

Don't they usually use female singers' songs because it lends to the illusion more? Idk, overall I kind of agree with Kimora that it wasn't a great song choice but she still shouldn't have harassed Gia on stage like that. It's a good thing this is Canada because if it was any other franchise then drag would've become a contact sport real quick if Kimora pulled those shenanigans to her opponent on stage. 🤣
