They are a rare breed, indeed the only ones capable of opening portals to the Higher Dream where Nightmares can be made real and killed. Empaths are expected to put use their powers constantly. Duties such as super natural healing, enchanted blessings and rites, and preparing alchemical concoctions are base line responsibilities as ordained by The Flower Guard.
Some say fragments of The Gardener’s soul live within Empaths, and that they are the key to the Transcendant Plane itself. A rogue faction seeks to unite all pieces in a bid for worldly enlightenment.
