Wanted to have this ready for y'all before the final two episodes drop so I could start editing a much bigger project. Gonna make a couple tweaks and upload this sometime over the weekend, assuming the channel's back in good standing. Not really sure how many ppl who watch me also like this show but kudos for everyone being chill abt these. Back to business as usual for the next upload.

"I don't feel like waiting 84 years to see what you do with this character". Man, isn't THAT a relatable feeling. I actually wrote about something similar to this with the Adventure Time fandom for a blog a month ago. (see my piece for the "On the Lam" episode: https://the-avocado.org/2025/09/29/come-along-with-me-adventure-time-graybles-allsorts-and-on-the-lam/) This was an interesting analysis for a character I didn't think much of or care that much for, but that goes to show the places hyperfixation can take you. I also very much agree that even if the criticisms are fair, a lot of people do have the attitude of critiquing Hazbin Hotel in a fashion that is more authoritative and hand-wavy than it needs to be. It reminds me of stuff like CinemaSins or JelloApocalypse's "So this is Basically..." series, but it's not being done under the guise of parody. Your closing statements made me recall how earlier this year, in the lead up to James Gunn's Superman movie, I realized that sometimes having "bad media literacy" is a choice. Sometimes people will go out of their way to be as uncharitable and antagonistic towards a piece of media, simply because they don't like it.
