2025-01-03 01:25:26 +0000 UTCOh I meant to say, when this episode aired there were so many complaints about the dog being kicked, that the show runners/members off the production team came forward to say it was just CGI. The dog is a trained actor and has been in other movies. GRRM loves dogs and would never have anything like that in one of his shows. Plus it's illegal. I'm sure you knew it wasn't real but I just wanted to fill you in on the reaction it got last year.

In the books apart from the twins Jaeherys and Jaehera, Aegon and Helaena also have another boy one year younger. When Blood and Cheese come to Helaena, she is given the opportunity to choose between her two sons, not asked who is the boy between the twins. When she chooses the youngest, one of the men says: "you see boy, your mom wants you dead" and than kills the one she chose to save. So basically that's way more impactful and makes the assassins looks more cruel and less stupid, because in the show they would have killed the wrong baby just if Helaena lied to them.
