I just found this patreon and i'm absolutely in love! Does anybody know how to get access to the glove pattern she mentions in this video? I joined at the highest tier that was available (the rest said they were closed for now) but it's not coming up in the search. Has anyone else joined recently and found a way to access the patterns and docs that go with the videos? I can see some stuff is hidden and I'm wondering if I need to increase my pledge to find those posts somehow.

My mother is a professional glove maker; I can't wait to watch this episode with her. (PS: We're from Gloversville, which used to be the home of many global glove brands!)

2023-01-29 14:48:06 +0000 UTCI’ve never found gloves to be very warm in general (it can get wicked cold in the winter where I live). You wouldn’t want to shovel snow in these! I generally keep a pair of inexpensive knit gloves with me and pull on the fancy gloves I’ve made over those when it’s particularly cold. If that isn’t going to be warm enough, it’s store bought mittens all the way 🥶!

I have red gloves with bows on the wrists, blue gloves with buttons, green gloves, let’s do lunch gloves and someday someone will invite me to a fancy party and I will wear my opera length black velvet gloves and look just like Jackie Kennedy (not really, but it’s my fantasy, so I do!). For the less-Christine-adventurous, Vogue has a glove pattern and Butterick used to, too. You can also find vintage patterns on the Internet…
