I want to make few tonight and leave them on doorsteps of friends for Christmas, but I know some of them don't appreciate glitter like I do. I prefer not to glitter bomb them.

2020-12-22 22:42:36 +0000 UTCI've Mod podged-and-glittered shoes for the stage. That last layer of Mod Page does lock it in, and I didn't notice much reduction in sparkle. I think it works better if you use fine glitter, though; I used the Martha Stewart kind.

2020-12-22 01:23:44 +0000 UTCI made these a couple years ago after Christine posted her photos of them, and I found that in order to keep the glitter from flaking, I painted on a glossy acrylic sealant over all the glitter, and it worked out great. I also embedded the ornament’s hanger cap thing into the clay before I baked it so the ornament could just plug right back in and not potentially fall off. I love these spiders so much, and I can’t wait to tackle the bat next! 🕷
