January Contest and Episodes update!

Hello!

I hope you are all having a super fun weekend! For the last few weeks I've been working on some really exciting stuff for you, while also experimenting with a whole new medium!

This medium has turned out to be a little tricker than I expected, but the results are kind of blowing my mind and I'm getting super jazzed about revealing what this is and showing you how to do it yourself! The only draw-back is this experiment is causing me a bit of a delay for this months episodes...

So I'm hoping you don't mind if you get a whopping month of February and a slightly sparse January :)) I'm still going to try my best to have the Dress-Form episode out by the last day of the month, but wanted to let you know what I'm up to and that there will be three episodes coming in February!

THE CONTEST: Last month I made just a couple of these special Siamese Bat Lamps as Christmas gifts and the winner of this contest will be receiving one! My question for this contest is...

If you were to come out with your own brand of home-ware goods... What would be the name of that line?

I'm excited to to see the answers to this and will be announcing the winner in this months live stream at the end of the month!! At that time, I'll also reveal the new medium and project I've been working on...

I am so in love with this little bat lamp, would you do a video on making it around Halloween? pretty please

Ah, I’m new so this is probably too late but I would call it something like Spellbound if I was feeling my darker/bolder side, or Uniquities if it were for vintage inspired pieces. Eclectic pieces for your dream home 🥰

Weird, I thought I posted but I don’t see it 🤔 Incase I haven’t, I wanted to go with Mr Gein’s Anthropodermic Atrocities but an Ed Gein reference has already been made so I figured Grey Gardens Domestic Delights. Everything would probably need scrubbed and smell like cat tinkle... how delightful.

"Hella Domestic". Im actually starting a blog and youtube channel documenting my weird, unconventional home life. In both I'll have a segment called HELLA DOMESTIC, where I talk about homemaking in a very fun, silly, geeky way, and frim the viewpoint t of a regular-ass kinda poor person who has to be creative with what they have. It's sort of a tongue-in-cheek alternative to all the pristine and pastel mommy-bloggers out there. I dont know if it would have a product line. But I'd love to come out with a book some day with recipes for how to make magic from whatever crap you have left in your kitchen. My killer fat-kid popcorn recipe. How to successfully use a blanket as a curtain. Using baking soda to clean anything. Where to hide your crap when company comes over. And all sorts of funny, and actually useful, tips. I've always fantasized about being this glamorous homemaker who throws beautiful dinner-parties, is always put together, and keeps her home neat, clean, and elegantly decorated....but in reality, it's a lot less fancy, HA! Also, I'm from Northern CA, so yeah....hella domestic 😜

Name: Ouija Décor Tag Line: “Home goods from decades past that even the spirits are ready to die for.” Font: Ouija board font with all the letters in matte black and outlined in white Each piece from the collection would have a hidden message on it for the owner to find. For example, a coffee table would have a hidden message scribbled on the underside. When my sister and I were younger, we use to leave each other messages on the underside of our coffee table in our living room. My mother had no idea until we were moving and the coffee table was flipped over and she saw all the black sharpie and notes that her children had left on her table. She was furious when she found it, but still to this day she has the coffee table and we (mostly my sister and I) laugh about it. It became more than a piece of furniture for us.

Angie Loyd

I would go with a line of home goods named Tiffany's Epiphanies. I love skulls and roses so I would incorporate them into every item I created.

Tiffany Hoyle

Forget-me-nots would be the name of the brand of home-ware goods. It would specialize in unique pieces that tie the room together. The items would have their own unique stories and it would be small batch made and numbered so it would be like an art piece and homeware. Items would include but not limited to clay pots and vases, lamps, sculptures, side tables. and on every piece, there would be a small forget-me-not hidden on it.

Lara Sovulj

Touched by magic. This was actually the name of my own bespoke clothing company, until the name of the url was caught by a major company who's now trying to sell it for way more than I can afford to buy it back...

Hepziba Gunneman-de Vries

If I were to have a line of home ware goods, it would be everything you need for a tea party -- tea pots and kettles, cups and saucers, spoons, fancy molded sugar, tiered cake servers, etc. -- with a burlesque twist. I can't decide if I would call it "Miss Mina's Elegant Tease" or "Temptress in a Teapot".

Also, I would love to see you do a catalogue. You use so many wonderful products and items, and if you put them all together in a catalogue, I would buy what you endorse or recommend. I am especially interested in the make up, baking stuff, tools, etc. Just asking. I would love a Christine McConnell Catalogue.

I have put a lot of thought into this and mine is "My Spooky Dreamhouse" . So that when people ask you "omg cute, where did you get that" you just say "my spooky dreamhouse". And they are all, "yeah, I know, its spooky and from your house. where did you buy it." And you respond with "My spooky Dreamhouse" causing the frustration and hilarity to all involved. The advertisement line would be something like "Helping you create haunted house of your nightmares since 1991."
