October Rundown

Personal health:

Not gonna lie, stressed out and burned out, but I’m trying to keep up the pace.

Thanks to the money help from adopts and commissions I’ve been sleeping better on our new mattress.

Not sure if I mention that before but it’s helped more than I care to admit.

Even with that money flow has been sparse and motivation has been on a decline.

I’ve not been officially diagnosed with manic depression, but I have looked up videos discussing it and I recognized patterns that match my own issues.

Clear plans become blurry, fun projects become a choir, consistently feel like I’m wasting time, friendships feel fake, and then poof, back to normal and running on full cylinders.

It’s a cycle of highs and lows I gotta deal with and unfortunately not sure if I can treat it with what little I make.

Which will be a new goal to reach.

Just enough to keep me on track, cause outside of feeling dejected, don’t wanna stop everything till I’m regular.

I know I shouldn’t push myself to get things down but I gotta be real; life is mostly fine.

Like shit’s getting more and more expensive but I can make it through as long as I work.

These bouts of lethargy aren’t doing me any favors.

Speaking of plans-

Plans:

Minor update for y'all just wanna let you know what's what and what's planned.
Going to wanna know your input first before moving forward, transparency is my policy, and getting your feedback would help improve the services on offer.

1. Subscription payments have been enabled, which means you’ll only be charged on the day you signed up. So double charging is no longer a problem.
2. I’m going to be increasing the price of the $1 dollar tier to $3. Due to the deduction taxes from Patreon, the dollar is more like 63 cents. So in exchange, I’m marking all posts (minus comics) viewable to all tiers. As well as having the tier able to view the exclusive channel.
3. Commission prices are being updated. I thought I’d be ok to take on comms for the fun of it, but it’s not paying the bills like they used to. The increase is significant but fair given the improvement as of late. As well as altering the discount offers that’ll make it cheaper for the more expensive options such as 2 characters/the works pieces.
4. Unrelated how would yall feel if I add my Oc’s as the theme? I know people have favorites or would like to see more but don’t wanna rope everyone in unless you’re all ok with it. Give me your thoughts on it.

If you want to jump off due to the price hike or you’re dissatisfied with the rewards added that’s fine, let me know your thoughts in the comments below and I’ll do what I can to optimize.

Just have faith.

I need to have faith as well that these alterations won’t scare people off or lead to me making less and less.

But if I can at least get medicated or get properly diagnosed so I can fight it, I should be on a smooth path to recovery and productivity.
