I don't know if this has ever been asked before and answered, but, how long does it take to prepare for these sessions? Do ya'll do any vocal warm ups to get into your characters voices? Any rituals?

To play devils advocate a bit, for someone asking about Avantris, they might say "just seems like a another Forgotten Realms with the same gods and races". What makes Avantris different? How would you sell/pitch Avantris to Forgotten Realms fans?
