Upcoming Dream System

Just as promised, I'll talk a bit about what I have planned for the dreams system.

One of the premises of the game was that the planet your character ended up on had a corrupting influence from a malevolent source, and that's where the Malevolent in Malevolent Planet comes from. The malevolent source is of course a deity of lust, that lives in an immaterial realm amongst other beings that are as well born out of emotions and feed from those. Well, our deity of lust can be anything, a he, a she, a combination between the two (😏), with it being able to change its aspect according to your preferences. More on that later.

For now, all you need to know is that dreams are mostly a way for this being to corrupt your character, by breaking in her subconscious mind. More than that, some of the dreams will be tailored to the choices you picked in the game, the so called Fetish Dreams. One example is that picking exhibitionist choices will eventually lead to her having a dream that sounds pretty fun, but I haven't yet started working on it.

Alright, now for the Corruption Dreams. They are separated into two branches:

• A linear plot. This is a plot that is advanced by the dynamic dreams from below (after a number of dynamic dreams, you will get a linear plot dream). The stuff that happens here isn't related to her past in any way, in fact, during the linear plot dreams she finds herself in the outer space, on corrupted planets that are completely alien even to her (or not). Because your character can either remain pure or allow herself to get corrupted thorough the game, the things that happen in this place are the ones that either seal her faith as a servant of the deity or, one that fights against its influences. This will be manifested at important keypoints of the game, where choices that appeal to each side will have more impact.
• Dynamic dreams. Those are effectively isolated events that could have happened in your character's past, only that they now gain a twist, one that can potentially make her slightly more corrupted once she wakes up. Fetish Dreams can also achieve the same effect.

For now, these are the dynamic dreams we have right now (and progress on each of them):

• Normal Gardening Day. She's taking care of her plants back at home in her garden, and while doing so, the plants she waters for some reason grow at an unnatural speed. Some of them turn into strange shapes, while others closely resemble suction cups, phallus like veins and, for some reason (probably pheromones), she feels abnormally horny and has a really difficult time fighting against the urge of using the corrupted plants in an act of self release. (fully written as of today, 12k words ✅)
• Summer Waitress Job. She's at university and she needs to make the ends meet on a summer job. She's at a terrace and it's extremely hot outside. Unfortunately for her, there's no AC and she has to keep working, but her clothes (which for some reason resemble a maid outfit) start sticking to her skin, making some of her body parts all too visible. Patrons take notice of this and there is a sequence of mini events that can lead to her getting more tips due to her unfortunate circumstance (thus corrupting her by using her body to her advantage) or, attempting to ignore or even fight against the more daring patrons that find the sight very captivating. (will get started on it if better ideas don't come along)

An example of a future linear plot dream:

• Naked in the forest. Since there's no way she could've woken up naked in a forest at night in her past life, this might be the first dream in the linear plot. She finds herself unable to talk (either because she's mysteriously tagged or a harsh tape has been applied to her mouth) and she seeks help. She comes across a cabin while running randomly and what happens in the cabin, stays in the cabin. This is one circumstance in which she can either remain pure or actively use others' primal weaknesses to her advantage.

I hope these changes sound exciting enough for you. In the next month's update, I'm trying to fill in one of the gaps of the game, that one being that you keep repeating the same dream endlessly for no reason other than the fact that there was no other dream to have at that point. Other than that, new clothes will arrive, together with more individual clothing layers. One outfit that will be used in the gardening dream can be seen in the attachments.

Because I sometimes get ahead of myself, this time I've actually made progress on what I set out to do and for that purpose I've actually finished writing the first dream and tomorrow morning I'll start plotting out the next one. I do hope that the changes I'm making together with monthly updates will bring some life into the game's community. 

I think that I've made a mistake by releasing infrequent updates in the past, because even though there's a lot of new content in each of them, it led to the game being noticed more rarely by the public that likes this genre but doesn't actively follow the game.
