Progress on the development of Malevolent Planet - 13th July 2020

Today's updates are:
- As I said at the end of the latest development update, I continued working on making the arrows functional so here they are. You can change the currently equipped item on the fly, even though the ability to change the currently equipped item on the fly will probably be adjusted during fights, because each item is made for a different purpose (right now).
- Added the desired temperature measurement metric to the settings. I realized I can't get away with calling stuff too warm or too hot sometimes as those are subjective opinions, so right now your choice will affect the displayed numbers for temperature during relevant texts. The default temperature scale is Celsius, so be sure to change that if you prefer Fahrenheit.
- Added a metadata for every location to keep track of the displayed content for every part of the day at every location. Basically, let's say you talk with Ted in the morning when he is usually enjoying his morning cup of coffee, it would be boring and it would break immersion if the same conversation happened every time. So, I am tracking the last conversation you had in that location at that specific time of the day and I make sure to display another one. Of course, there will be repetitive conversations sometimes, but over time I plan on making the conversations a bit more dynamic, right now what I can offer you is the choice to pick your own answer at times, and this answer would have an effect over your relationship with the other character, but also on your own Submissive/Dominant personality trait.
- Working on another portrait for the last one of Melissa's crew who does not have one and I built her personality a bit. Her name is Sarah, she is a nurse and she is quite shy. There's a template for her character development, but first things first..
- Working on the first quests, one at a time. It is a lot of work, but I am progressing. There are around 8 days until the expected initial release for v0.1.0, so I am hoping to include as much content as I can by then.
If I don't have all the quests I planned for by then, I'll just release it as it will be in a 2 weeks early Patreon release (after checking it for bugs, with whatever content/quests I wrote up to that point). This way, you'll at least get a glimpse at what I'm working on and I will have something to show for this month's payment charges. Development is difficult in general, be it a Twine game or an Unreal/Unity game. Unexpected situations that warrant the need for more coding appear, bugs and rendering issues are also their own beast.
In the end, all I can hope for is that you will like what I am preparing for you. I will say this in advance though, there may not be a development update on 15th July because I will need to travel to a nearby city for a MRI.
