Directions in Extra Content
Added 2019-03-28 16:16:46 +0000 UTCI've received a lot of requests and suggestions from viewers in the past month or so. They're all good ideas, but I can't possibly implement them all at once.
So here's a quick summary of directions I can take my Twitch channel. Let me know which one you'd most be interested in.
1. Weekly or biweekly podcast. Invite a guest on from the intersection of furries and technologists. Talk about current events, security news, open source, etc.
2. Educational (101) streams. The main value here is that they could be shared openly as VODs for anyone wanting to teach themselves computer security, programming, etc. Will require more planning, but since I like to do demonstrations anyway, this is a viable idea.
3. Hackathons. Join other streamers and invite some of the audience to work on building something simple and fun in a short time period (usually one day or less). Often involves calling a specific vendor's API, where the vendor is a sponsor of the hackathon.
I do have some other projects in the works still, but you'll hear more about them in April.
