Announcing the AMP Feature Bounty Program!
Added 2020-10-21 13:26:37 +0000 UTCThe AMP Bounty programme is a way for independent developers to contribute to AMP and be financially rewarded for their work by taking advantage of AMPs open API and SDK to implement new modules and plugins for other users to use.
We're largely going to be funding this using the funds raised through Patreon, so with that in mind we've added a bounty for the Teamspeak 3 support as an incentive for that to be picked up if someone wants to before we're able to schedule that work. We'll also be prioritising bounties for features/modules requested or voted for by our Patreon members.
The amounts we're offering are (we think) reasonably generous, running at up to $600, assuming a $25/hour rate and 24 man-hours.
We're hoping that this will be a great way to help expand the scope of supported applications within AMP faster before we're in the position to hire a full-time engineer (which is unlikely to be until after the COVID situation improves for obvious reasons)
