Sooo Patreon payments are being declined
Added 2023-08-07 17:07:59 +0000 UTCOk so, turns out Patreon very recently changed their payment processing over to a new company. Which has lead to a lot of people having their payments/cards declined because the credit companies think these payments are being made fraudulently.
So I unfortunately have to put the word out and ask you all to please check up on your cards or other payment methods in case there are any issue on here or for anyone else you might be patrons to.
I really wish there was something I could do on my end to help out or fix this, but really there just isn't and I have no way of knowing who exactly isn't or isn't affected by this. Patreon hasn't exactly been playing ball either, they're treating this as some minor "oopsie" instead of the major hassle that it is. So there doesn't seem to be any really solution coming that doesn't involve people having to investigate it for themselves.
So again, to tl;dr: Please check on your payments to make sure they're working and you're actually getting access to stuff on here.
I'm so sorry about all this and having to bring it up like this. It's something you all shouldn't have to be doing. Also sorry the zip upload ended up being late, was trying to investigate all this to see what to do.

Yeah, just trying to get the word out on every platform I've got because this has been a pain in the ass on every level. Also form my understanding, it's because Ireland has some tax exemptions that they're taking advantage of. Which you know, COOL, FUN, I'm sure we wont be seeing any benefits from this.

2023-08-15 15:28:58 +0000 UTCIf their payment was declined, They likely won't be seeing this message because from what I understand a decline payment immediately cancels their subscriptions. It was pretty shady of patreon to change processing from California to Ireland without any warning whatsoever. I wish they would explain why they decided to change what country they were processing out since most American credit cards will automatically decline international charges unless the card holder goes in to the card website and enables something to allow it.
