Finally uploading some Artfight pieces, this is for TOMBOYWOLF!

As you can see, I struggled to get the pose and perspective right in the beginning - and related to that, I'm going to be vulnerable with you all here for a sec. I have been in an art slump lately which is inevitable every once in a while BUT as Artfight is one of my favorite things ever I have had SO hard time dealing with that mentally! 😂 It's the time of the year when I come up with tons of ideas and allow myself to be experimental, so the timing for feeling stuck with creating hasn't been the best one.
And at the end of the day, as much as feeling artblocked sucks, I try to focus on knowing that it WILL pass and when it does, creating will feel even better! I also know it's a direct result of being exhausted from all the flus and colds and other things our family caught left and right, so I'm sure I'll get the hang of it again sooner than later. More often than not all it takes is a good rest.
And don't even get me started about all the lovely comments people have left on the pieces I wasn't too confident about! 😭💛 Although I'm a very private person who mainly makes art for the joy of it (well, to make a livelihood as well obviously!), I obviously appreciate every person who is willing to take the time to leave a comment on my art. And on top of that those kind words are a great reminder that other people don't know about the outcome you had in mind and thus don't compare it to the end product like I do. Just thought I would share that thought, it has made me feel better about many of my works!
That all being said, this was SO much fun to work on and looking at it with fresh eyes, I really like how to perspective and composition came out! ^^ I'm excited to post the rest of the things I have made for Artfight so far, and will work hard to finish the remaining pieces I have for it. Maybe doodle even a couple more when I'm at it!
