Added 2024-10-14 22:06:45 +0000 UTCStayed up late last night getting this DONE! Really appreciate the patience after losing so many days to feeling sick last week! Happy I can see the end of the mono-rail tunnel at this point too.
Not sure if I have too much to contribute to the blog post for this one. I'm fond of both of the feline women I drew up this time? One getting berated by her dad, the other hanging out with her friends, as she waits for the train to empty. I know I should have drawn a few more backers, and maybe even tried my hand at a pig or something different, but I've been having fun drawing these felines and their shoulders and chins.
While I was sick I tinkered with the script a bunch! Lots of small things, pushing the needle here and there. I'm not sure if I should share it either! Could be fun to show it as I go.
Hoping you're all doing good out there! Excited to maybe get this closed out in the next 10 days or so. THEN. FINALLY ---> we arrive at Owens =D I can't waittttt.

2024-10-14 23:21:39 +0000 UTCYeha that's the thing; I've not changed anything MAJOR. Just... tweaked all the lines in big and small ways. Tried to find more of their voices, that sort of thing. I DID add a little more homo erotic edge to one bit tho, that I'd be keen to see folks respond to =D And means a lot that you like the where-waldo-of it all. I really enjoy getting to draw these little character vignettes - and I think it makes me a better artist.

'I can tell what's happening even without words' feels like the highest sort of compliment for a comic! And gosh, yeah, I looked back at the past a few weeks ago; I can tell I've gotten a bit too anal on the details, and I definitely felt a sense of -ohno-wonder-it takes-me-so-long (those pages were so much more simple!) but the character stuff looks so much better, and more natural too. Who'd have thought 5+ years of drawing the same couple over and over would help ;D

2024-10-14 22:35:00 +0000 UTCYou know as these comics have gone on you've obviously improved in terms of technical skill, but looking at this page especially you're definitely getting better at characterization as well. The early stuff was fine as porn comics go, but there's definitely a lot more subtlety in the characters and how they interact now: looking at this page without text you can still get a ton of information about the personalities of these two and their relationship just from the visuals. Nicely done Ama.

I think it serves as a fun appetizer before we hit Owens too! And I'm just happy the Zootopia 2 sneak-leak dropped when it did! The pink shirt is super fun, and helps a lot with a bunch of my color grading; I love how red he is now, and how he looks against greens and yellows.
