Chapter 6 - Ties That Bind (pages 20-22), Roughs, No-Text, Text-in-Attachments)

Woof! Thank you all for being patient with me and these Roughs! For the life of me, I could NOT figure out how I wanted to pose our heroes in this final scene. That 1st page, panel 3? It's so similar to...

...and it was driving me crazy. I REALLY want to show BOTH Nick and Judy's faces; really see their eyes, and this pose just felt like it made it WORK. Even if I'd used it before!

To add to that Wall-in-my-brain, I was terrified of changing up the sexy-positions BACK to having Judy-on-top. I kept thinking there would be a real disconnect between the pages, and that it would just feel... jarring? But, I've really been wanting her on-top-of-Owen again for her final scene. It gives her space to act. Being pressed underneath Owen is super hot, but it doesn't give you much room to emote with your body, you know?

As I was working on these, filling out the pages with references and screenshots, getting more and more frustrated; I had a realization, to hell with the worry of repeating the pose - I'd make this one feel different enough! I could Curle Nick around the bods a bit! And to hell with worrying about putting Judy on top: She'll look great up there, and nobody will notice... PLUS fade the page in and put them on the floor - so there is an implication that a little bit of time has passed and they'd fucked their way onto the floor - is movement enough to change up positions!

I dunno, you guys. I worry and think TOO much 0_o

What's next? Well, time to dive into the pencils for page 1! I'm excited for those first few panels. Quiet and slow intimate moments just do such things to me! I also want to run a poll for the higher tiers; I'm a little undecided on the location of the No-words full-page panel where our trio talk and eat ice cream sandwiches post-fuck. Heck I spent a few days building out the rest of Owen's apartment too 0_o

TALKING of higher tiers. I thinnnnk the bonus final image is gonna be a top-tier exclusive when it's finished. I loveeee the idea that they'd take a quick selfy for their highest supporters =D So I might playfully post it to the higher tiers exclusively or early or something =D
