That's a valid criticism and I suspect the cause is that the twist ending was more important to the writer than fleshing that out any more than was one. One thing I wanted to bring up but didn't have time to get into is that I don't believe anyone would keep these visions of the girl to themselves for that long. You're TRYING TO TALK TO ALIENS. Anything and everything is important, surely it would cross your mind that persistent visions of any sort might be related? Come on. Anybody would have at least mentioned it to the rest of the team. She didn't because that would ruin the twist. It doesn't ruin the movie but I think that should have been addressed, even if after the fact.

2022-03-05 02:30:41 +0000 UTCThanks for the reaction. I thought the majority of this film was excellent but I found several aspects unconvincing. I don't think the love interest/daughter/future-seeing elements were fleshed out enough.
