sunday WIP stuff! 2025 2-16

this week had been a good bit slower than weeks prior, but that's alright with me! namely, i think i burned myself out a little bit on foxhood given just how much i got done within the span of 2-3 weeks in overexcitement.. it's made me a little intimidated of foxhood given how it turns out it's a pretty large project despite me keeping the scope down relative to its previous iterations in years long past. this week was largely planning and getting some more finished animations in the game, which you can see above!

i'm not giving up on foxhood, but i do think i need just a little break from it given the circumstances, so i'll be spending the week working on a little other game project to cool off a bit while staying productive, that "little other game" being something i wanna make on the side largely for fun going onwards alongside foxhood if i can help it! i'll share more info about it come next sunday when it's shaped up to look like something beyond just a concept! i think having a random side project alongside my main work could be helpful in the future for preventing me darting from project to project like i have a problem of doing, so we'll see how that turns out!
