sunday WIP stuff! animation's going slow, so here's a little something in the meantime!

unfortunately, not much in the way of animation has been done this week, i've certainly been trying and have made a little progress on cleaning up key-frames, but nothing really worth showing.. i'm having a bit of difficulty getting back into animating, because when i do it, i get stuck thinking about the external and internal reasons i had to stop doing it for a while and it makes me work extremely slowly. i apologize for that, it's a necessary hurdle to get over if i want to get back to making cartoons regularly.

animation is still going to be my primary focus, but i'll still be working on other stuff alongside it both because it's something i want to do for fun, and it's something else i can also show in the meantime! the attached video is a clip of "boy vr 2", a new iteration of that VR game i showed off late last year! i think i'm done working on it for the time being, but i thought it'd be worth showing anyways because it's a silly little thing! the footage itself was recorded in a developer-exclusive desktop mode, which is why you won't see the hands moving freely or doing actions like physically reloading (which is in the game!)

the basic run-down is it's a heavily physics-based single-player game that's just meant to be very goofy and fun, while providing a substantial game to chew on! the whole idea is that it wouldn't be as detail-oriented as something like boneworks, in exchange for a more hearty and unique Video Game experience. plus, it'd be compatible with Quest 2 standalone, so if that's all you have, the game would still be accessible to you in the event it ever releases!

i'm likely to pick this game up again some time in the future, but for now my Games Focus is back onto "foxhood", that game i showed last month which has had a lot of work done on it! certain events discouraged me from working on it for a few weeks, but my focus has returned to it, so you'll likely be seeing it here and there again as time goes on!

How hard is it to code physic based movements for ai like that? I’m in school for game design and would love to try something like that but I have no clue how I would go about that
